Since 1980 owners of the "National" restaurant and catering have followed the simple rule - customer satisfaction is the only target, and that the customer is always right (except the cases when he is wrong).  The main distinction of the "National's" cuisine is not only its imperial character, but as well its international features providing an excellent choice of meals from Russian and European cuisine.  But not only Europe changed Russian cuisine and also Russian dishes became a part of the world cuisine such as steak "National", chicken "Kiev", beef stroganoff and many others. The best authentic and the oldest one  Russian restaurant established in 1980 invite you to taste an excellent choice of different meals from Russia and Europe.  It has been featured in both the National and Local Press, as well as on National TV and Radio.

Brighton Beach, known as Little Odessa, is technically part of Brooklyn, but you wouldn’t know it to walk down Brighton Beach Avenue, where the signs are all written in Cyrillic lettering and the women are dressed in head-to-toe fur. Jewish Russian émigrés first settled the area in the 1960s, and the beachside center is now more Russian than United States.  The Lakeland Theatre was located on Brighton Beach Avenue between Brighton 2nd and Brighton 3rd Streets It was often called "the Dump". It has been closed since the 1950s and there is the"National" nightclub there now. “The nightclubs are what make Brighton Beach special,” said Pat Singer, head of the Brighton Neighborhood Association.  the National on Brighton Beach Avenue is Broadway. The show here is less risqué, and children scamper between tables while their parents dine on smoked eel and blinis.
“Tonight we have a 5-year birthday, a 60-year birthday, and two 25-year anniversaries,” explained Edward Izro, a jovial National waiter, as he pointed to tables festooned with birthday balloons.  Yelena Makhnin, head of the Brighton Beach Business Improvement District, said “The best way to learn about us is to come to the [our] neighborhood and eat with us, dance with us and party with us.” 03/11/2005 - We are glad to introduce to you our restored Dance Hall
